Located in a tranquil countryside setting, this renovated hotel is perfect for those seeking relaxation. the large suite is equipped with a very comfortable bed and a mix of old and new styling. Guests can enjoy a superb dinner made with local ingredients in the hotel's restaurant. the hotel's owner is friendly and eager to help guests with any needs they may have. guests should be aware that the suite only has Velux windows which close automatically with rain, which can lead to the room becoming too warm. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is not available for only a few guests, but the options available are of excellent quality.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's situated in a quiet location which provided me the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The facilities of the hotel were top-notch and clean. There was ample parking space for guests who are driving. The hotel staff were friendly, especially the owner who went out of his way to be helpful during my stay. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short drive away from both the cities of Fribourg and Murten. The breakfast served was delicious. I also had the opportunity to try the superb dinner served in the hotel's restaurant which used only local produce. I highly recommend making a reservation.
Couldn't find any faults at all with this hotel. It was a great experience.

If you're looking for the perfect countryside retreat, this hotel is a great choice. The location is quiet and peaceful, with friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a relaxing stay. The renovation mix old with new, while the large comfortable bed and wonderful dinner experiences using local produce are a must-do. It's only a short drive to major cities like Murten and Fribourg, which makes it a perfect location to explore the area.
The suite had only velux windows, which automatically shut in case of rain. This was understandable, but it made the room quite warm for me.

The bed was comfortable, and the location of the country retreat was quiet and serene. the dinner was delicious, and featured locally sourced ingredients. It was necessary to reserve a table for the dining experience. the hotel was in close proximity to Murten and Fribourg, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas.
The suite only had Velux windows, which automatically closed when it rained. Even though it was understandable for safety reasons, this made the room too warm and stuffy.
